Detail View

The detail view allows you to see all the information for each flight on a single page. Like the Grid view, this view is also affected by the current filter. Look at the "Menu/Toolbars" page for more details about filters. All of the fields should be labeled to help you with data entry.

There are dropdowns for the date, aircraft, tail number, and airfields. All time and counter fields have scroll buttons to change the values and also respond to the up/down arrow keys to change their values.

Along the bottom of the page are the navigation buttons. From left to right, these are "First entry", "Previous Entry", "Next Entry" and "Last Entry". The text field shows the current position in the filter and the number shows number of entries in the current filter. You can enter a number in the text field to quickly move to that entry and if it shows a number greater than the filter, this is a new entry. The next series of buttons are "Add", "Delete", "Save", "Cancel changes" and "Copy".

The program will save your changes automatically when you move to a new record or you can save manually by clicking the button. The "Copy" button allows you to copy this entry (or part of it) to a new entry on a given date. See the toolbar section for more details on the "Copy" function.
