FB FltLog is a basic flight logbook for Windows. It is an entry-level program designed to cover the basics and allow aviators to utilize a low-priced electronic logbook. It is meant to provide a simple way to track time and events. The main purpose is to allow backup and input of flight data on the PC with synchronization with a handheld device.
As an aviator, you will likely carry your handheld device with you on trips where the desktop PC (or laptop) is impractical. The handheld programs provide you access to your past flight information stored on the PC and allow you to enter new data as it occurs. When you return from a trip, you can simply sync the data with the PC and both versions will be brought up to date.
The PC is a better platform for entering large amounts of data than the handheld. It is more convenient to use this program to enter past data. If you have scheduled flights, you can also enter this data on the PC, sync it to the handheld, then enter actual information as it is accomplished.
The program has certain limitations which are imposed for compatibility with the handheld versions.
