Quick Start

If you have the software installed on a handheld that you have been using, you should first look at "Using with a handheld device " then return to this topic.

First, you will want to set your preferences from the toolbar button. The main options you should set are the label set you want to use and the time format (Hour:Minute or Decimal). The preferences section gives more details about each option.

Your next step should be to enter your aircraft. Tap on the "Aircraft " button in the toolbar and add as many aircraft as you like. Remember to choose a label set and that only 10 aircraft will be transferred to the handheld.

Now, you can start to enter your individual flights. If you are not ready to enter all of your past flights, you can enter some "dummy" records to represent your past flight time. Each flight can hold up to 1000.0 hours. You should be able to represent your past time in a few entries. You can always come back later and enter all your individual flights.

Now, you can enter more recent flights and/or your schedule. Once you have the logbook the way you like it, you should make a backup to safeguard your work. At this point, you can sync this data to the handheld device if you use one.

Along the top of the page are the menu bar and several useful toolbars. These give you quick access to different views and various functions. You can use the toolbar buttons to switch between views of the data. Alternatively, you may have a series of tabs along the bottom of the window that show the currently open windows and you can choose one of these to switch to that view.
