Most options/commands are in both the menu and the toolbars. The menu and toolbars are configurable, so the default settings will be described here:
Menu:
File – menu items related with file handling.
Close – Close the logbook (also exits the program)
Backup – Make a backup copy of the logbook (only available from the "LogInfo" page)
Restore – Restore a backup copy to the main logbook (only available from the "LogInfo" page)
Export - Not yet implemented
Compact – Remove extra information from database to make it smaller (only available from the "LogInfo" page)
Repair – Attempt to repair the database if you are receiving errors (only available from the "LogInfo" page)
Print – Print the active view
Print Preview – Preview the printout of the active view.
Print Setup – Set margins, etc, for printing.
Exit – Exit the program (also closes the logbook).
Edit – Normal edit options (Undo, Cut, Copy and Paste).
Record – Database navigation and data related options

Copy – Copy the current record to a new date. A dialog with options to select what data is copied will pop up.
View – Logbook appearance, database views and options.
Toolbars – A submenu shows all the available toolbars and allows you to toggle them in/out of view. Another option allows you to customize the toolbars.
Workbook tabs – Turn on/off the tabs along the bottom that allow you to quickly select from open views.
Status bar – Turn on/off the bar at the bottom of the page that gives miscellaneous status information, such as Caps Lock, etc.
Info Page – General logbook information. Shows the logbook location and important dates associated with the logbook.
Logbook – Grid view for entering/viewing data.
Details – One page per entry view of entries.
Airfields – View the airfield entry page.
Aircraft – View the aircraft entry page.
Tail Numbers – View the tail number entry page.
Totals – View the logbook totals.
30-60-90 – View the 30-60-90 tracker.
Reports – Not yet implemented.
Preferences – View/set preferences.
Handheld Options – View/set handheld options.
PPC Sync – Sync the PC logbook with the PPC version.
Tools – User defined tools created/edited from the "Toolbars->Customize" menu item. By default, the windows calculator and a link to the Front Beach Systems website are in this menu.
Window – Standard window management. Displays list of open views and allows you to manage their display.
Help – Allows you to view this help file and view the about box with program and registration information.
Toolbars:
Most of the menu options are reflected in the toolbars by default. The notable exception is the "Filters" toolbar.
Filters toolbar – Allows you to control the display of the logbook data. Options are described from left to right.
Reverse – Toggle the sort order between newest first and oldest first.
Toggle Filters – Enable/Disable the remaining filters.
Show Aircraft – Toggle viewing actual aircraft entries.
Show Sims – Toggle viewing simulator entries.
Aircraft filter – Select a single aircraft or a group (civ/mil) or aircraft to view.
Category filter – Select which category to view.
In Command filter – Toggle filtering flights by in command status.
Date filter – Select one of the miscellaneous date filters.
Future Entries – Toggle viewing of entries in the future.
